Establishing, Disestablishing and Amending Coursework Courses and Units Policy

When developing and naming new units in cross/multi-discipline areas, consultation with the relevant faculty needs to occur prior to the unit being submitted to the teaching and managing faculty boards.

Faculties are encouraged to share and cross-list unit offerings in cross disciplinary programs.  When units and majors are given full academic recognition in more than one faculty, all relevant policies shall be consistent.
