Alternative Arrangements for Assessment PolicyPlease note that this policy has not yet been revised or converted to the new format. Guidelines outlining the Alternative Arrangements for Assessment are available from the Disability Liaison Office web page. PurposeThe purpose of this policy is to ensure that students with disabilities have equal opportunity in all types of assessment. ScopeThis policy applies to assessments for coursework units and or degrees. RationaleAlternative Arrangements for Assessment are provided because they are an efficient and equitable way of minimising the impact of a student's disability on performance in assessment and of allowing students with disabilities to compete on an even footing with other students.
