Purpose | To ensure a consistent approach to the selection of internal course transfer students across the faculties of Monash University, and to create greater consistency between internal course transfers and students entering via other pathways. |
Scope | All Monash coursework students |
Policy Statement | Internal course transfer is subject to a competitive selection process. The level of performance required for a successful application is set by the faculty managing the course. The minimum eligiblity criteria for currently enrolled Monash students for an internal course transfer are:
- Successful completion of a minimum of 12 credit points in a Monash University course;
- Satisfactory completion of the relevant course prerequisite requirements for the new course;
- Performance at an appropriate level in the existing course.
The faculty to which the student is applying to transfer will determine what is an appropriate level of performance. The appropriate level may depend upon both the current course and the course applied for. |
